Today is my girls last day of school.  I am taking them out a few days early since we are moving out of town.  On Monday all three of my girls will be heading to the lake to spend a few days with my parents.  Have I ever mentioned that my mom is like June Cleaver, Martha Stewart, and Betty Crocker all in one?  She is awesome!

There are a few new tunes I have discovered, and I wanted to let you guys have a listen.

1.  If you have daughters, I have three, you are most certainly listening to this.  I can appreciate their love for boy bands.  I have a New Kids On The Block scrap book.  Yep, I am that cool mom!

2.  This is fabulous.  I am so in love with this genre of music.  Is genre the right word?  I love how gritty, soulful, and raw it is.

3.  I know every word to this song.  My heart burst when I heard this version.

I stand silently in the background of your mind, waiting for you to remember that I am with you.

I let a circumstance last night completely overwhelm me.  I flew completely off the handle. Anger does not begin to touch the hatred I felt towards someone.  The anger stemmed from fear.  A fear that I should not have had if my focus was pointed in the right direction. I am overprotective of my spouse and my children.  I hate when I know their feelings and spirit have been wounded.
