My parents live in the country on a lake. I 100% relax whenever I am there. We swim, we eat, and I read. I read alot!
One of the days we were there, I went for a drive to take some pictures. It was so nice to drive around in the middle of nowhere, listen to music, and think.
I love this view. It is so beautiful in the fall. This picture makes me wish I could buy another lens.
There were sunflowers everywhere. I have a distinct feeling that this picture is going to be blown up and hanging on my wall very soon!
Good old country road. Oh how I would love to live on it!
Well hello there stranger. He He. This big ole guy was sitting on the side of the road right next to the fence. I stuck my camera between the gate to get a picture. He was totally giving me the eye!
My real purpose of the drive was to visit this old cemetery from the 1800′s.
I love old cemeteries. I love thinking about the people living back in those days. Did the land look the same? One day, I need to do a little research to see if there are any old homes or relics from those times.
There are tombstones that mark some of the graves. Many are unmarked, and many are just small stones or rocks.
I loved this one.
I love old cemeteries.
It was such a nice drive. I cannot wait to do it again!

Cemeteries creep me out but that was a cool cemetary. Loved the gone home. How clever and funny. I would love to live in the country. Maybe one day:)
Peyt and I will be old and gray. By then all the country will be gone.
