We had such a great 4th.  The best part was that Mr.Kell did not work.

We started that day with a parade.  This is a parade that I used to attend when I was a kid.

You can’t have a small town parade without a tractor.

Or the chance to obtain a ridiculous amount of candy.  Don’t worry, Mr. Kell inspected the candy before the girls could have any.

After the parade it was time to head to the lake for some relaxation and hot dogs.

I have lived on or near a lake since I was 7.  It is the only way to go.

Then home for some rest because……..

We had an awesome fireworks to watch.

Sitting in the back of a truck watching fireworks in the town that I grew up in was pretty awesome.  What made it more awesome was I was sitting next to a guy who is in most of my memories of living there.
