It’s That Kind Of Day

It’s that kind of day when the sun doesn’t come out so you drink copious amounts of coffee, knit yourself a scarf with a skein of fisherman’s wool, and watch Jane Eyre.  Speaking of knitting, the rick rib stitch is kicking my butt.  I have tried and tried to start a scarf with this stitch to no avail.  I keep messing it up, so I have grabbed another set of needles and a different skien of yarn and am knitting my self a simple knit stitch scarf.  I will attempt again next week after a trip to the yarn store for a different type of yarn.

It is colder today that it has normally been.  Of course my little bit wanted to go for a walk.  Has she forgotten that mommy ran two miles last night?  Needless to say we went for a walk and loved every bit of it.

Did you watch Glee last night?  Neither did I.  I watched it this morning and loved it!  That show makes me so happy!  I love all the new members of New Direction.  I cannot wait to see what is going to happen this season.

I am already tired of football.  I think it is the only topic that my husband is capable of discussing this time of year.  Thank goodness for knitting, my computer, and the new Fall shows.

I just found this on my Pinterest Board and wonder if it would work for a rug in the living room?

I wish I had the $$$$ to be creative like all the people I see on Pinterest.

I am making this tonight.

Yummo!  I just hope that everyone eats it.

I leave you this fine Friday with something funny.

When my 4 year old says yes, she says it like Napoleon Dynamite.

Yessssssss.

It makes me laugh every time.

Happy Friday!
