A Cup, Some Meatballs, Information, And I Should Have Taken Their Man Cards

I have so much to talk about.  It is like a big crock pot full of casserole.

1.  Yesterday was Necole and Marni’s craft corner.  We took a stab at decorating our own coffee mugs with sharpies.

That’s mine.  I decided to use lyrics from my favorite Beatles song.  Not the best, but I like it.  Next time I will by a smooth cup that does not change in shape.

2.  When I grow up, I want be a cute little Italian grandma.  Why you ask?  I love meatballs.

These look yummy!

3.  I found a few interesting things on the internet this week.

4.  Last, I must have missed the memo that said yesterday was daddy bring their daughter to gymnastics day.  There I was working on my grandma skills, knitting a scarf, surrounded by dads.

The best part was their topics of conversation..

First, they had a 20 minute conversation on the pros and cons of Facebook.  Apparently, one of the dads was a musician and was trying to figure out if Facebook or YouTube would be a better platform to be heard.  Then, the conversation got more weird.  They were talking about pregnancy, placentas, toxemia, and bed rest.  I have to say, I was impressed with their correct use of medical terminology.  I could not help but giggle when they started talking about natural family planning.  I totally think it works, I am just not used to hearing a man talk about birth control.  Especially with other men while watching their kids in gymnastics.  It was like listening to their wives talk, which is what I do when they bring their kids to gymnastics.  I should have asked for their man cards.

It was a nice week here at The House of Kells.  Tonight is family night at school.  Hot dogs and games.  The girls are very excited!

Have a great weekend.
