****MARNI, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, YOU MUST STOP HERE. DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER. I AM TALKING ABOUT YOUR CHRISTMAS GIFT. PLEASE READ AFTER WEDNESDAY****.
So, I usually make gifts when it comes to my friends and my daughters teachers. You cannot beat the price of crafts, over a finished product in a store. Plus, I love homemade gifts. Just knowing that someone took the time to make something especially for you is nice. Now, if you are not crafty, taking the time to buy that special person just the right gift is nice too.
Here is what I made for my friend Marni.
She is sunshine and rainbows all the time. I am firecrackers and bubbles. We get along great in our happy happy state of mind. I really recommend choosing happy.
Anywhoo, I used to embroider when I was little, like elementary school, and really wanted to make her a piece of hoop art. First, I needed an idea. I found one here.
I hit Joann’s with my 40% off coupon, and found the buttons, thread, and felt. That place is a one stop shop!
I have since trimmed the sides, and it is ready to be hung on the wall.
I hope she uses this as motivation to talk her husband in to turning their back room into a craft room. This would be perfect hanging on the wall!
P.S. I will never tire of the snow on my blog!
P.S.S. Joann’s does not know me from Adam. I just love to shop there.
