I have been thinking about getting bangs.

Yep, this is what has been consuming my mind.  Well that, and new bedding for the master.

I really do not want to think about anything more important right now,  The important things can wait till tomorrow.

Now, back to the bangs.

My most recent hair cut, back in September, I got some lash skimming bangs, but they were not very full.  They could easily be swept to the side, if my cowlick was behaving.

011Now I want a full bang.  You see, I no longer have wrinkles on my forehead, they are more like creases, and I would like them covered.  Must have been from all that thinking I have done thru the years.

Here are some ideas I have found…..

I love the look of this haircut.  The bangs, and the overall length are perfect.  I have pretty thin hair, so I am not sure how this full of a bang would work.

I think this cut is adorable, and it would also look great in a ponytail.  For me though, the bangs would have to be just a pinch longer. P.S, have you seen Northanger Abbey?  She was great in it.

Last but not least, Kate Moss.  I love these bangs, and since at one time in my life I was her doppelganger  I thought if she looks good with the cut, I probably would too.

So, this is what has been consuming my thoughts when I am driving home from work listening to Eddie Money.  I really need to start reading again, or keep up with current events.  What I really need to do is catch up on Scandal.

I Cut My Hair

Actually, I cut my hair about three weeks ago.  I was running errands, and popped into a JcPenny, and BAM!

I decided to go with bangs and layers.  No highlights or color.

The bangs and layers give me some movement around my face.  My hair is really straight, and I tend to look very homey if I let it get too long.

My plan is to actually invest in a curling iron and hair products.  Nothing besides shampoo has really touched my hair in a very long time.  I was trying to remember the last time I colored my hair, and I think it has been 5 years.  Yep, I am that mom who does not wear make-up nor does her hair.

One of these days, I am going to go to the drug store and replenish my make-up.

P.S  The hair cut only cost me $32.00!

I Need A New Look

Like the title says, I need a new look.  I am jumping on my weight loss wagon again, and really need a new look.

Now, when I say a new look, I mean a new look for my hair.

I am feeling a little like Crystal Gale right now.

This is me sans make-up with my hair down.  It is thin and straight.  Oh the days before kids when I actually had a full head of hair.

 

This is how I always wear it.  I still do not have any make-up on.  I rarely ever wear it.

In the past few years, I have had bangs, layers, and a bob.

I would probably like my current look more if I actually did my hair.  I own a hair brush and a blow dryer.  I do not own a curling iron, flat iron, or any products.

It is kind of sad, but when you have three kids and only work part-time (as a nurse), you tend to just pull your hair up.

I have been looking through magazines and the internet to get some ideas.

I have always loved this cut.  There is a nice long layer and some side swept bangs.  I would just let it air dry for some body.

Love the layers.  Unfortunately, I have only ever met one person to ever give me layers that did not make me look like a mushroom head.  He disappeared from the planet.

Maybe what I need is a color change, or some highlights.

When I see this picture, I immediately want to run to the hairdresser and say do it.  I love everything about this cut and style.  the highlights are fabulous.  I think what really sells this is the girl in the picture.  She is ridiculously beautiful.

I am clueless as to what I should do with my hair.
