Things….
The family and I went camping last weekend, and had a great time. The weather could not have been better, except for the mornings which were freezing cold.
The bunnies are doing well, and right now as I type this their mommy is feeding them. Life is so awesome.
My nine year old has to wear a bra all the time now, and after I told Mr. Kell, I was firmly instructed to never talk about it again. I guess this means I am all on my own when it comes to the puberty talk.
I do not want anyone to be jealous, but I am organizing my computer tomorrow. My folders, pics, etc, are all out of whack.
Pictures…
Mr. Kell is trying to fix a hole in the air mattress in the dark. I will let you guys know that it did not work. I got zero sleep. At 0500 I got up and walked to the bathroom, then quickly ran back to the campsite because I thought I was being chased by an animal. I made some coffee, and watched the sun rise all by myself. No kids, no husband.
A beautiful tree during the sunrise.
It does not get better than a campfire.
The water was crazy cold, but these girls did not care.
The water was so calm in the mornings. It made me wish for a porch with a porch swing.
Have you bought the abeautifulmess app on iTunes. You really should, because it is too much fun.
Little bit running after her sister at the bus stop. They are running around right now playing dress up.
We packed up the campsite on Mother’s Day and headed home. I took a nap, we ate Whataburger, and watched reruns of Duck Dynasty. Plus, I got the above poem for a gift.
Another great week!
Go Rangers!

A gift from one of my girls.

Nature walk with my girls.
Nothing screams love like making your children exercise when you take them to the park.
One of views on my daily walk.
It was a dreary day yesterday, and my car was in the shop. Since the little bit and I were stuck at home, we ordered a pizza and watched Despicable Me. The dancing at the end is my favorite. I get up and dance every time. My girls hate it.
Last Friday there was a Spring Carnival at the girls school. Of course the best part was the bounce houses!
This is a happy little girl who got to go to the park on Monday. She even packed her own lunch and back pack. It was too cute.
Then she wanted to take a walk, that later turned into a race. See that cute dress? I got it from
My little bit was getting tired of seeing me spray paint stuff, so we went to the Goodwill and bought two metal candle sticks. Theya re now sitting in the flower beds in the front yard for some yard art.
I like to call this “Girl with spray paint”.
New shoes thanks to Walmart. I would not wear them to the zoo, but running around town is great. The stripes are perfect.
Waiting to pick up her sisters.
I would like everyone to know that this says Lampin Rainbows.
I have been walking two miles everyday. It has been gorgeous outside (minus yesterday and today), and it gives me time away from the noise.
It was 48 degrees when I left for Ikea yesterday. Unacceptable weather in May for Texas. It was 34 when I woke up this morning. I am not a happy person. I pulled out the cords to wear with a nice bright orange and white striped shirt.
Cinnamon Rolls. Yum!
This really needs no explanation. We caught the tail end of this movie last night, and I told my girls they were not allowed to go to high school parties because it could get crazy and someone may cut off your hair. Like that was the worst thing that could happen.
Mr. Kell and I went to a wedding last Friday night, and I actually had to use one of these things. I never iron anything. Between yoga pants during the week, and scrubs on the weekends, I have no reason to use such a machine.
Whataburger fun!!!!
Say hello to my new flower pot. Mr. Kell and I have plans for a small part of the backyard.
I found these in the trash. I am thinking turquoise of course.
I had to buy it.
Gravy is awesome!
She still gives the best hugs. She loves her momma so.
My little bit calls this store the lost and found.
Splashing puddles at the library.
I am contributing to her high cholesterol levels in the future.
Like I said on Instagram… My uterus was used to house the most beautiful girls.
Thank you Jesus for another beautiful day. I promise to stop dwelling on the past.
My herb garden.
Fro-yo with these beauties made my Thursday evening. Well that, and watching Beauty and the Beast. Yes, that is a mint green wall.
For good reason, I am not very productive on Mondays. I ran to the bank, bought a magazine, ate some Whataburger, and hung out with my little bit. I enjoyed reading this book, and am reading the second book of the series now. Apparently there is a third in the works, and a possible movie. I am recommending that Hugh Jackman play Matthew. He is who I see when I am reading. Plus, he is tall dark and yummy. I am working on a post about all the things I love about this edition of BHG.
Where I usually sit on the couch gives me a view of our garden. Just a plain old garden. No raised beds, just dirt. Our corn is looking good as well as the onions, tomatoes, peppers, and I think beans. This is Mr. Kell’s domain.
Tuesday we went grocery shopping. Aldi first then Sprouts. I am in love with their vanilla wafers. This is what little bit wore. Ballerina outfit, black and pink leggings, and a printed shirt. It was pretty darn cute.
Here is another choice ensemble.
I made
It started to warm up yesterday. The day definitely called for a rootbeer and a yellow straw. My favorite root beer is IBC.
This water was very good. I am going to make my own, because $1.29 a bottle is a little pricey. My favorite was the lime. Mr. Darcy is never far away.
This girl actually took a nap the other day. I thank the weather. This was her evil eye when she woke up and I had the phone in her face.
Last nights dinner idea was a success. Everything was served on a toothpick. The girls helped make, serve, then of course eat it. It was a ton of fun. We spent dinner brainstorming what to put on a stick next.
Red pants and sparkly pink shoes ruled my Monday at Ikea. I love that place. I scored a $5 lampshade in the “as is” section. I also found some chairs for the dining table. I will have to buy one per paycheck. I figure by Summer, I will have 5. If you buy the skinny boyfriend pant from Old Navy, just know they do not fit like the jean. An 8 was a little snug, but a 10 would have been to big. I really need to stop eating all that belly bloating food.
Red funky knobs, for my antique dresser. P.S the color is sweet pea from Lowes. I have discovered that I would sooner spend money on my house and my girls than myself. Mr. Kell gets spoiled every now again also. I mean I just bought him some toothpicks and cough drops. If that is not showing love, I do not know what is.
My daughter and I love to eat here. They have the best customer service.
It is getting bright in the bedroom. All I need now is pillows and art above the bed. Oh, and a bed skirt. My sister said that it is not fen shui to have a bed skirt because it stops the flow around the room. Not having a bed skirt and having your box sprig show drives me nuts.
My daughter Abby likes peanut butter on her waffles and pancakes. This little girl exudes coolness.
I made it to the gym twice this week. I am feeling crappy because I am not going my regular four. My little bit is having some extreme social anxiety issues and I am going int the evenings when Mr. Kell gets home. I am trying to find a good routine to combine home and gym.
My daughter made a heart on the windshield yesterday.
Candy the devil. I have no control.
This is a pic of me on my last day of being 36. Today I am 37. In three more years I will be 40.
Breakfast Starbucks. Tall decaf caramel macchiato. It is the bomb.
This is a peek of my awesome bag my sister got me for my birthday. It is the perfect tote with hot pink neon straps. I am so in love. it is just the bag that I wanted but could never find. Thanks Heather!!!!
I really do not like doing dishes. I prefer washing dishes over the dishwasher. Crazy I know. I have had the above dishes since I got married. They are everyday dishes and the pattern was discontinued by Dansk. I decided to check Ebay, and holy crap, $60 for a plate! I think I will be supplementing with random dishes. Just another reason to go to Ikea.
I love funny kissy faces. This one here has be trying my patience. School is not going well. She might be the only Kindergartner who does not know her complete alphabet. Although, we were at Sprouts and she walked up to a box and said i want some Rice milk. I was like what are you talking about. Sure enough there she was holding a box that said rice milk. Sounds like a little bit is a little full of crap!
This one here was looking for her name so she could see her stars. The stars represent the skills she has mastered. She has the cutest bubble butt.

Exercise, exercise, exercise. I got in two days this week. One day was in the evening, and I will never do that again. Holy jeez there was a ton of people.

I am in the process of working on some wall art for above the TV. This is the first piece. I copied it from a print my sister made in college. I am not creative, but I can copy just about anything.
Two out of three girls helped in the kitchen this week. I now know why I like to cook alone.
Some people wear TOMS, some where moccasins. I love my loafers.
Blockbuster is closing in our town, so little bit and I did a little bit of shopping. Young Frankenstein is for me. Abby normal anyone.
My cabinet is finished. Now I just need to hang the doors and buy some new knobs. Next, I am looking for a small cabinet with glass doors. This house needs something yellow.
Pumpkin pie wanted lasagna for dinner so I made some. I love my new pyrex dish. My sister Mary found me this with the lid, and a gravy boat. I crazy love my pyrex.

We have a huge coffee table in the living room. It is very inviting for all kinds of stuff.
My mother makes the absolute best sugar cookies.
Here is North Texas this week, we have seen some beautiful sunny skies!
Last but not least, my little bit fell asleep today while driving home from Chuck E Cheese where she payed hard with her Papa and Nini.
