My girls and I sat around the kitchen table the other day and made some fun barrettes and Valentine wreaths for the fireplace.  We sat around, talked about our day, and snacked.  You see, I also went to the grocery store that day so the pantry was full.  My daughter Abby was constantly saying “I am in heaven.”

I was learning the finer art of cooking from none other than Ina Garten (on the tele).

We jammed to One Direction, and I congratulated my girls on their awesome report cards.  One good thing that has come from our spontaneous move, is that my girls are absolutely thriving in school.  My oldest loves going to school now, which makes me so happy.  She was not doing well last year, and has done a complete 180.  Education is very important to me.

I was proud of our finished products.  The girls wore their barrettes today, and I hung the wreaths above the fireplace for a little bit of love in the living room.

We ended the night with some sight words and breakfast for dinner.  All and all a great family day!
