I always work on Mother’s Day, but love coming home to see what my girls have made for me. My husband asked me what I wanted and I told him a $5 Starbucks gift card. He said that’s it, and I told him I want to be able to go to Starbucks by myself to use the card, sit at a table, and drink my tall, decaf, caramel macchiato with soy milk all by my lonesome.
He smiled.
I do not believe in expensive gifts on Mother’s Day.
Jesus gave me three little girls, because he knew we would be a perfect fit.
Plus, there is nothing better than a homemade frame or hand prints with a poem.
